Bacon Brussels Sprouts


  • organic brussels sprouts
  • grass-fed butter or ghee
  • organic uncured bacon
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • grass-fed raw cheese (optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees for bacon. Lay out strips of bacon onto baking sheet.
  2. Add bacon to the oven and bake 10-15 minutes (or until desired.) Flip the bacon half way through if it's a thicker cut.
  3. Slice ¾ pounds of brussels sprouts in halves.
  4. Sauté in skillet with 3 tablespoons of ghee or butter, until brussels sprouts become wilted but slightly crispy.
  5. Add cooked, chopped bacon at the last minute and stir.
  6. Sprinkle salt, pepper and cheese as desired.
